Building Web4.0

Our project aims to build a viable economic model for funding and investing in public goods and digital content (articles, books, research, open-source projects, videos, etc.).

The benefits of this project are as follows:

- Enabling people to earn money by posting high-quality, reliable content (and demonstrating the credibility and track record of the author) while punishing fraud, thus promoting civic discussion online.

- Enabling investment in digital public goods, scientific research, open-source projects, and investigative journalism.

- Creating an "economy of evaluation and attention" that evaluates content based on its reliability and importance, rather than just "likes" or clicks.

- All content is available for free, as the business model is not based on subscriptions or advertising.

- Building an ecosystem (and economic model) that enables large-scale growth of open-source.

- Allowing content creators to profit from others building on or creating derivatives of their work.
